Terms of Advertising

Last updated October 11, 2026. These terms apply to every advertising booking made on star927cayman.ky.

1. Who we are

STAR 92.7 FM is operated by Interactive Broadcasting Media, 90 Fort Street, Financial Center, George Town, Grand Cayman (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at info@star927cayman.ky.

2. Your booking

Your booking is confirmed once we receive payment and send you a confirmation email. We can decline or cancel any booking before it airs; if we do, we refund what you paid for spots that have not aired.

3. Your ad

• You are responsible for the content of your ad and confirm you have the rights to everything in it, including music, voices and trademarks.
• Ads must follow the laws and broadcasting standards of the Cayman Islands. We may ask for changes or refuse an ad that does not.
• Ads are 30 seconds long. Send your finished ad as an MP3 at least 24 hours before your first air day. If it arrives late, your campaign may start later; spots missed because of a late ad are not refunded.
• If you ask us to produce your ad, we will confirm any production fee with you before we start.

4. When your ad plays

• Packages (3, 6 or 10 spots a day) are rotated between 7 AM and 11 PM, including drive time. Our team sets the exact days and times.
• Custom spots air on the days and in the time window you choose: run of day (7 AM – 11 PM), morning drive (7 AM – 9 AM) or afternoon drive (4 PM – 6 PM). We do not guarantee an exact minute within that window.
• Breaking news, emergencies or special programming may move a spot. We will air it again at a comparable time.

5. Prices and payment

• Prices are in Cayman Islands dollars (KYD). USD amounts on the site are estimates only.
• Packages and sponsorships: you pay the first month at checkout, and the remaining months of your campaign are billed monthly until it ends.
• Custom spots and interviews are paid in full at booking.
• If you pay by bank transfer, your campaign starts once the payment has cleared.
• If a monthly payment fails, we may pause your campaign until it is paid.

6. Minimum term and cancelling

Spot packages have a 3-month minimum term. You can cancel with 30 days’ written notice after the minimum term. Months already billed are not refunded. Custom spot bookings can’t be cancelled, but you can move them to other available days. Ask us at least 2 days before the original air day.

7. Missed spots

If a paid spot does not air because of a technical problem or an error on our side, we will air it again at a comparable time (a “make-good”). If we cannot, we will refund that spot. See our Refund & Make-Good Policy.

8. Liability

We are not responsible for results from your advertising. Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for the spots affected.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you book applies to that booking.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands.
